Course overview
This lecture consist of three parts: Part 1 provides a top-down overview of real-time and embedded systems, real-time software/hardware architecture, real-time communication features; Part II gives more details about real-time operating systems, scheduling features as well as synchronization and IPC programming. Part 3 touches the issues of software engineering for real-time and embedded systems. It may include the life cycle model, design and analysis model (CORDART and RT UML).
